Liverpool medicine 2024

hi, im going to liverpool for medicine and is there anything that we need to buy for the course before we arrive in September?
Ive looked on the website and they've said that theyll give us scrubs and a lab coat and if we need a replacement ill have to pay , but do we need to buy a stethoscope from an outside provider or will the uni give one to us and we will pay them when we're at the uni?

Hi, you don’t need to buy anything. In year one, the only time you use a stethoscope is during clinical skills and there are many stethoscopes available to borrow. You will however, need to buy your own in year 2 when placements begin. Congratulations on securing your place at medical school, I’m sure you will love studying at Liverpool.
