grades for Oxbridge medicine

I got these grades in my GCSEs

9 English lit
9 English lang
8 maths
8 biology
8 French
8 history
7 physics (possibly an 8 in remark)
7 german (will be an 8 in remark)
7 rs
7 chemistry

I’m particularly worried about my 7 in chemistry and I heard that people who retake have a lower chance of getting into russel groups

For context I go to a high achieving school so my grades aren’t good, however I do come from a low income family and have received fsm.

Im taking biology, chemistry, maths and English lit for level and if I do well in those and the UCAT do I still have a high chance of getting in or should I not bother.
If not are there any other good unis that are more likely to accept me

Tbh, if you get the A level grades, UCAT and do well in the interview. They wouldn’t really care whether you retook your GCSE chemistry. A 7 is still a good grade
