maths or psychology

is maths a better a-level subject then psychology? I am doing bio and med and wanna pursue med. ive never done psychology in gcse and got an 8 for maths

For medicine, I’ve met people who got in with bio,chem,math and bio,chem,psychology so it doesn’t matter too much. But to get the predicted grades for medicine, pick the one that you find easier. If you’re better at essays pick psychology and if you’re better at maths pick maths. Maybe look at the a level content for each subject and decide

Doing chem is the most important thing for med - but I would go with maths over psychology; there are parts of bio and chem a-level that are less challenging if you’re doing a-level maths (statistics and logarithms).
It’s also pretty useful for the maths part of the ucat when you do it (just because you’re practicing throughout the year).

You just need bio and chem doing maths wont give you anything extra unless you want to apply to Cambridge overall just go with what you think you would do better in for example i do bio, chem and psych and ik if i took maths i would have failed sent you a pm btw
