Cardiff needs 9 x 8/9s, unless contextual, and even then, many applicants get rejected.
A UCAT of 270 B3 would not have made Kings cut off for many years, although I suspect the cut off may come down now all London med schools are using UCAT.
Sheffield had a low cut off last year, but it was above 2730 for the 3 years before that. They also use SJT as a virtual MMI station, and someone with a B3 would need to score better at interview than someone with a B1

Yeah I’ve got A*A*A predicted and have got work experience done. Just working on my personal statement, I’m definitely not putting all my eggs in one basket for kings I’m having a good look around too and have some other options, I might apply to it as an aspirational option. but idk with the band 3 if I’d have a chance

Lancaster University. From 2025 Lancaster Medical School will be using UCAT as part of its application process.

Leeds University. Leeds previously used the BMAT, but they have switched to UCAT for 2024 entry onwards.

Leicester University. They give 50:50 weighting to UCAT score and academic ability. The cut off for 2023 entry was 2,250.

so your overall score fits into the range of those accepted. the band 3 is the minimum but if you results ae good and you give an excellent interview you should be in with a good chance. they have a 13% acceptance rate . there are issues with them not sending reject letters out or delaying offers to near the deadline.
