How does choosing A levels after completing A levels work?

So I chose eco business and maths for A level but wanna do physics but didn't have requirements so my six form said if I have good grades in these A levels I could choose physics but how many years would it take to study it as it's 1 A level, where would it be learnt and can I choose only 1 A level after completing 3 since I'm thinking of getting into top universitys???

Maybe they mean they'll let you change to physics after the first term if you're doing alright or something like that I don't know. People on here aren't going to have an answer about what your school is thinking you just have to speak to them and ask them to explain.

To learn all the content it really only takes one year, looking at the subject on its own, however since you will be juggling economics and business (subjects that don't relate to physics) i suggest you drop one to be able to take a level physics : i am assuming that if your going to take it at school you have 1 either already learnt the As content, 2 are going to learn it alongside your other subjects in y13 or you will be staying on for an additional year to finish the course. Either way unless you really need physics for your future course in uni i don't recommend it , it is a very interesting subject ,but the exam boards make the exams so difficult they take away the ability for students to achieve certain grades they would in other subjects due to the cryptic nature of the questions.
Good luck with hard work and dedication who knows !

Why Econ and Business??

Lots of overlap there.

You should not take Economics and BS - too much overlap and not liked by some unis.
