Masters in the US

is there anybody who is studying for their masters in the US? or someone who is knowledgeable about further studies in America? i wanted to know how much emphasis there is on a-levels? do they play a huge part in your application, particularly for law school?
I would be very surprised if high school qualifications were considered at all as part of postgraduate applications in the US (or anywhere really)? You may need to declare them but I can't imagine it being very pertinent information for the admissions tutors beyond verifying you did indeed graduate from high school.

thanks for your response. so i guess what really matters is your degree e.g. a first or 2:1 and a good LSAT score. i was just worried my a levels would be a setback in my application but there are probably more significant components to the application like a strong degree etc?

I just don't even see why they would consider your high school results. It was 3 years (4 for US students...) before the actual application period. It tells them nothing about your ability to actually succeed on the course. Why would it be relevant?

It would be like universities asking for your year 8 SATS scores for applying to an undergraduate degree.

yeah agreed, i think a levels don’t have any importance here. i’ve been doing some research and people are mostly saying that a-levels aren’t usually part of entry requirements for Masters degrees in the US so that sounds reassuring. the application will mostly revolve around the undergraduate degree, LSAT (since I’ll be trying out for law school), relevant work experience, references etc.
