What should I expect when starting an iMedia GCSE?

I've taught iMedia in computing since year 7 but I has a difficult class and we never had any full lessons or completed much work. I took imedia as GCSE but I don't know what to expect. I kinda regret picking it as I don't have much experience with it but I'll take at least 4 lessons before changing my options. Anyway if you know anything about the subject or if you're doing/have completed imedia please tell me anything you know, it would be extremely helpful. Thanks🖤🖤

Tbh I find it quite fun!! I had the same experience in computing during years 7-9 but the GCSE itself is well structured. I'm starting year 11 soon and we were able to learn the whole of paper 1 content by April ish. The coursework part is very fun and I've found doing the research the best part haha. I'd suggest looking at the specification on the exam board's website so you know what you're getting into 😄 Pls ask anything else you wanna know about it and hopefully I'll be able to answer 💯

I'm doing iMedia (OCR cambridge national) for GCSE too and I'm in year 11 now. Its honestly pretty easy, its mostly just common sense for the written paper. For the first NEA you have to use photshop or some photo editing software so if you can learn that it should be fine lol. I got full marks on the first NEA so ask me if u need help  You don't have to change the subject if you don't have experience cuz its quite easy to figure out. Hope this was helpful!
