Is it worth applying to LSE?

Guys do you think it will be worth applying to LSE , if my GCSEs are 777766654 . Also I do a BTEC so one of my subjects are in the non preferred area ….

It depends on the course. For competitive courses, LSE would expect applicants to have several grades 7-9 at GCSE. You may also have trouble with your level 3 qualifications, as certain courses may not accept a mix of A levels and BTECs. Check the course requirements, but if they don’t accept BTECs, you would likely be rejected. The same goes for GCSEs - if you don’t meet their minimum GCSE requirements, you would likely be rejected.

You have 5 uni choices so no harm in applying. Just make sure your personal statement is good

Applying post A-Level with your certificates gained would be preferable.

Also, the LSE 'scrutinise' the UCAS Personal Statement closely, so a 'stellar' UCAS Personal Statement is expected from you to gain an offer.

I wonder which A-Level subjects you're studying and is the BTech in Business? 😧
