I want to go to uni but don’t know what to study

Im heading for DDD in my btech in sport and excercise science but Im now thinking a degree in this subject would not be a good idea as I don’t want to work in this industry. Problem is I don’t know what I want to study at all. Can I change direction with a degree that includes a foundation year? Or are there courses that don’t mind what your btech is as long as you have good grades?

This is too broad a question. A lot of courses accept BTECs, but some unis and some courses will be pickier about which BTECs than others. Is there anything that particularly picks your attention?

Many social science degree s - and others - do not have specific subject entry requirements, they just want the stated grades. And, depending on the units you have taken within your BTEC, some Unis may accept it as a 'science related subject' for other degrees. However, be aware that not all Unis accept BTECs, or for every course. You will need to check the entry requirements for each individual course on each Uni website.

It isnt compulsory to 'go to Uni'. Its going to give you £50,000 of student debt. And often the qualification you end up with isnt worth that. If you have no clear ideas about what you want to study, or why, then that suggests that this isnt the right path for you at the moment. Step back, look at alternatives. Give yourself time to think about what you really want to do.
