When would I be able to next drive?

In the past 7 months (January) and (August) I had 2 seizures both after a 7 year free period of no seizures. Both were asleep seizures. When would I be allowed to resume taking my Driving Lessons again please? On the DVLA or the official government website page for any asleep-seizures I would need to tell the DVLA and I would have to be seizure free for at least 12 months from the very first-seizure that I had? Does that mean I can resume driving in the new year or…?

Thank You

You've had seizures while asleep and awake
You may still qualify for a licence if the only seizures you've had in the past 3 years have been while you were asleep. DVLA will let you know whether or not you qualify after you've filled in the form. Until you hear from them you must stop driving.

You’ve only had seizures while asleep
You may still qualify for a licence if it’s been 12 months or more since your first seizure. DVLA will let you know whether or not you qualify after you’ve filled in the form. Until you hear from them you must stop driving.

Did you have to give up your licence to the agency?

Yeah I’ve stopped driving for 2 years anyway due to confidence and then ever since I’ve never took a lesson especially after what happened in January and recently
