✨Some information about me✨✨

I will post on this blog weekly (at least!) and I am using it to recap my past week like what I learned and my general feeling around school and home life, plan my week ahead and maybe post reviews of books I've read or shows I've watched.

Interaction is welcomed and I will do my best to respond to everyone! (also tell me if you want to be added to a quote list for big updates!)

I haven't started any yet but my plan is to do some reading on maths before I start - because it's the one I'm the most stressed about!
I'm going to try and find your GYG now and follow it <3

Sounds like a good plan, my school set sooo much summer work for STEM subjects (like 10 hours per science and maybe 3 hours of maths- i know this sound like an exaggeration but genuinely it isnt!)
Thanks!

Oh my god! That's so much and honestly a little ridiculous... My school hasn't given me anything and I honestly kind of want something to do 😭

I mean you could always search for sixth form summer transition work and do some for another school.
For Maths it was loads of algebra practice which for me was quite fun- believe me I know how nerdy that sounds!
To be fair though the stuff for science was very easy mostly because it was a review of all triple topics with a few new things linked in so that people who took combined can be caught up. As someone who did triple though it was just a huge load of practice questions and past paper questions that I’d already done.
As you did combined it might be worth looking at some of the triple stuff though?

Tysm for the tag!
The Welsh system is actually very strange when it comes to A-levels bc they insist that 90 percent of kids have to take Welsh baccalaureate (which I hated) and noone does well at it 😭
Luckily bc I'm doing 4 I can skip the subject tho

WOOHOO! Huge congrats
Ok so I don't have much to get done today but there is a little bit of sorting out I need to do before school starts
- print out and read through specs of all my subjects
- get my folder back from my brother and label it
- ask for my timetable from the school (I don't think I'll get it)

I also went climbing with my best friend (the first time ive seen her in a month) and just hung out for a bit chatting and organising a sleepover which was very fun to spend time with her now bc were not doing any of the same subjects at 6th form :frown:

Also how is everyone sorting out their subjects? Do you have books? Folders? Do y'all bring them in every day or keep them at home to look at? I just want to get some advice bc I'm not sure how to keep organised

I think I might be stealing the idea of printing the spec and having a look through 🙂
For folders and stuff I have one per subject which I plan to put finished homework and tests and stuff in then I have a mesh pouch thing per subject which Ill put in my bag with homework to do and bits of paper etc in it. I’ll probably change this and adapt but it worked for keeping revision materials in my bag toward the end of year 11 so Im going to try continuing it! I plan to write in an exercise book though rather than folders of notes
