I think I might be stealing the idea of printing the spec and having a look through 🙂
For folders and stuff I have one per subject which I plan to put finished homework and tests and stuff in then I have a mesh pouch thing per subject which Ill put in my bag with homework to do and bits of paper etc in it. I’ll probably change this and adapt but it worked for keeping revision materials in my bag toward the end of year 11 so Im going to try continuing it! I plan to write in an exercise book though rather than folders of notes

Yeah I was debating getting notebooks for all the subjects but have decided against it for now but thank you for your other ideas!

Ok so I don't have much to get done today but there is a little bit of sorting out I need to do before school starts
- print out and read through specs of all my subjects
- get my folder back from my brother and label it
- ask for my timetable from the school (I don't think I'll get it)
I also went climbing with my best friend (the first time ive seen her in a month) and just hung out for a bit chatting and organising a sleepover which was very fun to spend time with her now bc were not doing any of the same subjects at 6th form :frown:
Also how is everyone sorting out their subjects? Do you have books? Folders? Do y'all bring them in every day or keep them at home to look at? I just want to get some advice bc I'm not sure how to keep organised
<3 - Max

all my classes are online, so i made a pacing guide at the beginning of the year and i look at it every day and see what's coming up

That's actually a really good plan to be honest but my problem is I don't know my timetable yet 😭I'll probably do something similar when I actually get back to school thank you for the advice! <3

I do a notebook per subject and add notes to it throughout the year. I also have folders for some subjects where my teachers print booklets instead. Don't bring all books every day, just the ones you need for class/notes if you are planning to in free lessons
Ok so I didn't get much school work today but I did play my first hockey game of the season! That's very exciting but also sad bc it's the last game with that team and I'm going to miss them 😭
I have had people staying over for 3 days and then having another sleepover tommorow so don't anticipate doing much in the next few days; but that's ok! It's the last bit of the holidays and while i am excited to go back to school I also need to remember to relax...
I'm also working on my fashion sense at the moment and have various things on order like red converse which I'm very excited to arrive!

I hope everyone enjoys the last few days if holiday before we go back in a few days!<3

Yeah my last day of holiday is tommorow and I'm just going to chill and make sure I'm fully ready now <3 hope you're doing well
First day!
WOW that was so overwhelming.... The teachers are going hard on the fearmongering around the big step up so that's vaguely terrifying but oh well! My timetable is one of the weirdest I've ever seen bc I only have 1?? lesson on a Monday and 2?? on a Tuesday and I cant even leave the school which is pretty annoying.
No homework as of yet but I have been promised some for the weekend which is quite nice tbh - I never had any in the lower school.

Current feeling - relaxed but suspicous
🎶Song of today🎶 - After midnight - Chappel Roan
Total homework - none!

wow i'm so jealous about how many free periods you have and the fact that you never had any homework in lower school!! also don't worry about 'the big step up', teachers always make it out to be worse than it actually is
woah that sudden lofi girl jumpscare in your main post 😂 and well done on your first day! i also found it so overwhelming(everything is soo new - the buildings - it felt like I was stuck in an impossible maze and all the very unfamiliar faces made it worse XD) today but i also enjoyed it

I'm so happy about the amount but tbh I'm slightly concerned about where they are in the week bc I feel like I'm not going to use them properly almost? I hope I'll be ok but idk 😭
Thank you for the encouragement as well <3

What can I say I'm trying to be ✨aesthetic✨ 😭
But yeah I get you with the maze and unfamiliar people - I'd be so scared! It's bad enough to be in the same school now 😭 I'm glad you're enjoying it now tho <3

i totally get you, my friend had the same issue and she used to set aside one free period a week for just chilling and use the rest for working. that way you get to relax but don't feel guilty about doing so since you've set aside time specifically for that purpose!

That's a very good idea actually! My other plan was just going to be to try and get leave to go the gym with a guy I know has the same schedule as me but idk yet - it really depends if I can cope or not 🤷
