what are some varying ways to revise for a history aqa alevel??

I'm particularly struggling on the USA: making of a superpower part of the course, and I know the best thing to do is typically essay plans/mind maps, but if I don't get a good variation of revision methods in, I get so burnt out. Any tips or ideas???

Might not be very applicable to you specifically but I did history edexcel American west( and other topics of course) and what really helped me was watching a few movies on the units so that I can immerse myself more into history and then I’d blurt, mind map, write essays etc. But I needed those as well because my English wasn’t good. In the end I got a 7 and was 2 marks off an 8 in History.
Keep it up though, I believe in you!

my favourite thing to do for history was write big lists of facts and dates about certain topics, so if i got an essay on something i could have a pre-prepped list of statistics + examples
