I somehow managed to survive all three of my lessons today- sort of anyhow cos I missed some of all of them but I’ve done all the content so it’s fine. So far I haven’t really started physics yet but my class is so small which is great. Biology has a lot of stuff to do but it’s interesting so it’s not horrific. Maths is super easy cos I’ve already done a lot of the content so hopefully i wont have to worry about that for now!

I found the same with maths. Dunno why we have to start from beginning of AS Maths honestly. Just doing simple stuff like problem solving. We have done indices and a bit of trig since tbf so I won’t be too cynical. Are you also doing OCR B MEI?
Im doing OCR A. I had my first lesson today and we were doing indices and surds, literally the same stuff I remember learning in ks3. Im the only one in my class who’s done anything beyond gcse maths too which is irritating. At least it means i dont have to stress too much about it to begin with i guess 🙂

Ah ok. Yeah it must be frustrating to do all the same content again. I think OCR A is harder but has a significantly lower boundary but dunno 🤷*♂️
I did some of my Biology homework during one of my study periods today and also made a load of flashcards from Tuesday’s class notes. Yesterday evening I did some maths questions on surds and indices and also some stuff for Biology.
This evening im hopefully gonna do:

My other biology wider reading (I started it but its super long so Im just procrastinating)

Make flashcards from proteins class notes (although ill likely do those during a GSS on Monday/Tuesday)
How’s everyone else enjoying the weekend? I went to a nature reserve this afternoon and saw some invasive crayfish which was fun 🙂

Today I did some flashcards in the morning and also completed the second section of my MOOC. I still need to do the bio wider reading so I’ll do that now(ish…) . Update: I finished it although i did skim read a few paragraphs in one article as they weren’t very relevant to my interests and didn’t contribute much to the content we’re looking at in my opinion!
Ive got a free tomorrow and hopefully I can do my flashcards during that. I also have my first enrichment session!

Do my first tutoring/mentoring session of the year! (Its for a kid i know in a younger year to help with hw, organisation, study etc and also maths tutoring!)

Go to nature and eco club which im looking forward to

I think atm nature and eco has got like 3 members plus the 2 teachers that help run it but it’s a lot of fun. My school has quite an extensive nature area which we go to if its nice weather. Also hopefully some year 7s will join as its at their lunch time too 🙂
