Today I did some flashcards in the morning and also completed the second section of my MOOC. I still need to do the bio wider reading so I’ll do that now(ish…) . Update: I finished it although i did skim read a few paragraphs in one article as they weren’t very relevant to my interests and didn’t contribute much to the content we’re looking at in my opinion!
Ive got a free tomorrow and hopefully I can do my flashcards during that. I also have my first enrichment session!

Today I did some reading enrichment (basically just a lesson chilling this week which was nice) then I also had Biology in which we did microscopy- I was very proud of myself for participating in the practical 🙂
What i did today:

Made flashcards from last weeks class notes on proteins
•
Finally finished all my flashcards from my summer notes!!!
•
Started making notecards from last weeks Biology notes
Homework to do:
•
Biology Seneca
•
Finish class notes on types of microscope
•
Wider reading
•
Exam booklet (being given it tomorrow)
•
The portfolio task (also being set that tomorrow)
•
Finish doing notecards from last weeks class notes
•
Type up flashcards for my microscopes notes (once I’ve done them!)
Tomorrow Ive got Biology (doing another practical) then Physics (with a new teacher eek) and also I’ve got nature and eco club at lunch which will hopefully be fun. Praying for good weather. In the afternoon I’ve got a free so I’ll hopefully do my microscope notes then or the Seneca- mood dependant i guess! And after school Im mentoring/tutoring a younger student 🙂

Yeah I dont work that much at school so i have a lot to catch up on lol. Thanks, I think I might need that luck 🙂
I’m starting sixth form in about 2 weeks and taking Maths, Physics, Biology and an EPQ with the aim of studying something in ecology or zoology at uni. Im quite excited to start my subjects but also uncertain about starting sixth form!
I obviously just got my GCSE results (9999998886A) which I am very happy with!
Over the Summer Ive been mostly: going to nature reserves, trying different art techniques, building a website, working on my speed cubing, listening to a lot of music, doing my school’s set transition work (finished this yesterday) and preparing for my a levels with some CGP books.
I hope to stick with this and hopefully post at least once or twice a week with some goals for stuff I’ll be trying to do in the week to hold myself to account and maybe update on how I’m finding sixth form.

Feeling a bit more confident about my workload now!
We started some actual content in physics (charge and current) which was nice and I liked how much freedom we were given in the practical part of the lesson when messing about with circuits 🙂
Today I did:
•
My maths baseline test (I did it during a study lesson instead of in class and it took me much less than the time limit which is a tiny bit worrying)
•
I typed up all the notes into flashcards from my morning physics lesson
•
Did all my flashcards for the day!
•
Some of my biology homework (probably the wider reading and some of one of the booklets)
•
Read ahead on maths
•
Do some practice questions for maths
Tomorrow I’ve got another Physics lesson on the foundation stuff (a bit annoying as my other physics teacher has started proper content) Plus a maths lesson with a free for my third lesson (Ill hopefully do some biology work then!)

Nooo - that's why I'm a bit aprehensive about using my locker because I'm scared I'll leave smth important in there
