Open University Year Start/End Dates

Hi, I'm planning to start a BSc Hons course with OU next year, I am wondering if I start my first year in October when will my first year end? And when will my second year start? Also, when do you get your final results?

It will end around May June when you submitt your tma. Unless you are doing another module in February when it will end September time.

The next module if not selected to start in Feb will start again in September October time.

Awesome, thanks for replying. Am I right in thinking there are 4 modules for level 1, 4 modules for level 2 and 4 modules for level 3? That's if each module is worth 30 credits as they only like you to do 120 credits in 1 year (I don't think the course I'm looking at has any modules with 60 credits). Thanks

You don't have to do all 120 credits in the year you can break it down.

I don't know what course your rw on..

I'm doing 60 credits a year so one module.

do you know what to expect if 2/3 of your modules are available to start october but ones waiting list so may end up starting that one in february. does that just mean 2 will end in may/june and the other in september1? does this then affect my year 2 start time
