KCL accommodation
I'll be starting my master's programme in September 2024, but I'm uncertain whether I should choose KCL's student accommodation for postgraduates. My main concern is whether staying in university accommodation will help me meet new people and make friends, or if my social experience will be similar regardless of where I live.

I am another postgraduate going to KCL this year, but I'm unsure how many spaces are left for the student accommodation for this year. You might need to check😔 My IOPPN chat has been talking about the lack of rooms left

Guess I need to make a quick decision. If I’m not mistaken, IoPPN is a faculty at KCL.

😅I tried to add a link to a group in case you were part of IOPPN but the site was not pleased I tried to use a link.
But yeah the accommodation situation is dire.. I'm seeing a lot of people who missed the accomodation guarantee deadlines or want to swap rooms. There could certainly be something left but there might be a waiting list, things might shift depending on who accepts their offer at KCL 🤔

Nah, I’m part of the NMES faculty but I don’t think there’s a group for it. Unfortunately I can’t pm since we’re both posting anonymously. But it’ll be great if I can also receive information from other postgraduates

I'm sure there is a Facebook group for Postgraduates, so they'd be better suited than myself. I applied quite early so I was sorting my room on the day the site opened 😅 I wanted one of the cheaper rooms because I'm self funding most of my rent and etc... even saved up to help me during the year. I can't check what rooms are available or else I'd tell you☹️
