How much should I study..? How many hours?

And how to study efficiently because I feel i study too slow like i dont get a lot of stuff done but it takes a lot of time… i write too. Slow

How long you study is really so person dependant so here’s my suggestion:
Start with 30 minutes per day on a subject which you find interesting and easy to study, do this consistently for about a week- you can change the subject each day if you want but you dont have to.
When youre confident with being able to study for a half hour, up it to 45 minutes- again start with subjects that you like and dont find too challenging. Do this for a week or two until you get used to it, longer if you need!
Then up it to 2 half hour sessions per day. Make sure to take a break in between them. This should be enough and i would say the maximum amount of time to be studying per day consistently through year 11.
Around exam time or mocks maybe up it to 3 lots of 30 mins or 2 lots of 45- whichever is more productive and take breaks often so you dont run out of focusing power.
Also you dont have to do this every day- I started revising seriously in feb of year 11 (I did around 1.5 hours per day Monday-Saturday) but I never revised on a Sunday! Then during my actual exams I started revising Monday- Thursday and having Friday off as the weekend becomes the best time to study for exams on Monday and Tuesday.
Basically the point Im trying to make is that you should start small and then try and increase the amount of time you do whilst making sure it isnt getting too much for you 🙂 also take lots of breaks and make sure to sleep, eat and exercise well!
Best of luck for your GCSEs!
