You might not hear back for weeks, keep apply to other jobs. They might be quick to reply, fast or not even reply at all. Just keep filling out more and more applications.

Thanks Albert, but the problem is that not much jobs here available so yea… it’s a bit troubling in East Midlands
I get what you’re saying, but unfortunately that’s just the way it is. Just keep looking for jobs and keep applying, think of every supermarket you can, and then apply to work at their store(s) and warehouses.

Wish you the best! Also, apply to agencies. One that I work with does events with my local football and rugby teams, and other events, easy money.

Hi

Although you had a interview with no response yet don't mean you'll be successful,
You mentioned that the job expired on the 24th August which was Saturday, sometimes they wait untill the job advertised has expired before they start offering jobs to people because they probably have interviewed hundreds and hundreds due to them wanting lots of extra staff for the Christmas temporary period and they will have to decide who's getting jobs and what dates they are going to start everyone ( they start people at different days and times over a few weeks).

Now if you had a reference/ referral from a manager at Tesco then hopefully they'll put a word in for you and see what happens.
Everyone who's applys has a opportunity in getting a offer of a job.
Sometimes you hear back with in a few days but could take anything up to a minimum of ten days.

Have you thought about applying for anything else with Tesco maybe at another store until you hear back.

Best of luck 🤞 🤞
Team leader and stand in supervisor as required with Tesco.

Hi

Apologies for late reply 😞 😞

Okay I thought you had your interview with Tesco which you said you haven't yet.

They sometimes have interviews during the job advertising period and if they get the amount of people they want for that particular job position then they will withdraw the particular job advertised earlier than the date.
They can also await until the particular job advertised has closed before starting to ask people to interviews.

There's bound to be jobs available for temporary jobs with Tesco as they have started to advertise for temporary Christmas period staff so keep looking at all your local Tesco stores within your area. Don't apply for too many at once and spread the jobs over various stores okay.

Alright thanks Tracey! I’ll keep looking although the plan is not to only rely on Tesco. I have applied at bunch of different stores

Okay,

Yes apply to other retailers as well but I only suggested that you should look at other Tesco stores within your area.

Hopefully you will find something soon 🤗🤗
