just wanted to ask when do i have to pay for my alevel resits? or if i decide to do 3 different alevels i can just pay for the exams right and study at home?

Usually by February at the latest, otherwise you would incur late fees by April.
A better question is where are you resitting your A Levels. If it's at your previous college, check with your college. If it's somewhere else, check with the exam officer at the other place.

This will depend on the individual A Level subjects and exam boards (you're sitting the same exams and doing the same coursework as any other A Level student). If they're 100% exam based, then yeah. If they're not 100% exam based, then it gets complicated and expensive booking for your NEA/practicals/coursework.
Nevertheless, you can do most of this at home.
There are some adult colleges that do accept students for A Levels at a cost, but they're few and far in between. If you can find one, it's probably better to go with them for subjects you haven't done as opposed to studying at home.
