Tesco Induction
Heyy! So I have an induction day at Tesco for a job that was only open to one vacancy, does this mean I’ll be doing an induction by myself? Alsooooo what questions do they ask you at the induction? I like being prepared but I’m not sure what type of questions will be asked

Although you were the only person that was accepted for the one position in that particular job reference doesn't mean you might be the only one attending the induction day yourself.... They won't waste time having a induction day for one person okay, so what might happen is that other people who was successful recently in there interview process will probably be doing there induction day as well.
The induction day is about you being shown videos of health and safety standards, how Tesco came in to meaning ( how it became Tesco and a big supermarket), you'll do your paperwork that still requires done ( national insurance, bank details, work to right document - take those along with you okay, filling in your uniform order etc) and you might be given a chance to do something on the shop floor if manager decides. You should also get your hours you'll work and what days ( if not suitable then speak up about it and get something to suit yourself).
Don't worry about questions as they will do random stuff if they decide ( management or whoever takes the induction).
Just a point on pay - you may find that you'll be short per hour ( not what you might have been told) for the first twelve weeks - this is your probation period and if you are kept on you'll be paid the same per hour as all the other permanent staff in the store.
Team leader and stand in supervisor as required with Tesco.
