A-Level maths

Hi. so im taking accounting,econ and law at A Level, however i want to do a degree apprenticeship in hopefully accounting or finance after sixthform. I was wondering how necessary A level maths is and if the combination im doing is ok. I got a grade 8 in maths so im pretty decent at it but then again if im worried i wouldnt be able to hack A level maths

accounting wont' be an issue, since they don't require grades in specific subjects.

For finance degree apprenticeships, it would depend on the individual apprenticeship. You should be fine for most. See the following for their finance professional apprenticeship for example:

A Level Maths is more difficult than GCSE Maths, but I wouldn't say it's impossible. Also your grade at GCSE has very little meaning at A Level. I have seen people with 8s and 9s get Cs, whereas people with 6s and 7s get As. A Level is a different animal to GCSE.

It wont be an issue. One thing to note - there are very few degree apprenticeships in accounting. The normal route is to take professional qualifications rather than do a degree course.
