Can I apply for HSPS at Cambridge but Law at other unis?

I want to apply to do Human, Social and Political Sciences at Cambridge for 2025 entry but the career I want to pursue after university is Law. For that reason, I want to apply to joint Law courses at other universities like Law with Politics at Edinburgh and Anthropology and Law at LSE. My personal statement is therefore quite Law-centric but still has themes of Sociology, History, etc. but I'm worried that it won't work for HSPS. I'm unsure if the 'My Cambridge Application' supplementary statement will be enough. I don't want to apply to courses at other universities that aren't qualifying law degrees; Cambridge is the exception.

I'm sure this could work, maybe do 50% politics and anthropology, talk about how they intersect and then the other 50% law. The extra Cambridge statement you can use to focus on HSPS. I would say to just stick with politics and anthropology for the 1st half otherwise you risk not getting offers from your unis. (Eg . Lse want 50% anthropology and 50% law)

There is a law with humanities degree at Warwick this is more flexible so they won't be looking for a particular humanity subject. It is also a qualifying law degree

You will need to explain why you want to do another subject alongside Law - not subject specific but for intellectual/academic-stretch.
If you want to have a chance of an offer from LSE then your PS needs to follow the specific advice to applicants for that course.

Other universities are likely to place less emphasis on the PS (and you can use the additional statement for Cambridge - plus they have interviews so don’t put much emphasis on your PS at all).

If you try to cover all your possible subjects in your PS then you’re likely to be rejected by LSE.
