Nope. I don't think so. It feels like this every year.

It's just that people who have less rarely seem to post about it.

The interim deciles will be out in the nearish future, it will be interesting to see. But the AVERAGE has been 2500 ish for a long time.

I think there is a slight risk that the average could go up slightly given that there is no BMAT distraction this year. But the average won't leap up massively.

Also. For many many people the process of applying to medicine is a two year cycle. And people often get higher scores on their second go around and have been on here for a year plus so tend to post their score more I suspect.

I dont think that is true, many cases of ~2500 averaging results and few superb results (that might be a case of hot air that no one can validate, to create anxiousness maybe, who knows).

I'm taking my UCAT later this week, though not taking much stress from some of the reported UCAT results.

What r u scoring on medify

On medify, my average for the past week had improved to ~2950ish.

UCAT official mock result, I found A difficult:
Set A - 2700
Set B - 2920
Set C - 3180
Set D - 3050

People who have low scores are probably less likely to post about them than people with very high ones, and if you've got pre-exam jitters yourself it's possible you're zeroing in on posts that talk about getting 3000+ and not really registering all the posters with average scores. The mean score does fluctuate, but the change from year to year is rarely that big. I wouldn't worry about it. Try not to focus on what others are getting and concentrate on preparing the best you can.
