GCSE result

Hi these are my results from the GCSEs I took;

Science(Double Award) - 98
Art - 9
Maths - 8
R.S - 8
Eng Lit - 8
Computer science - 7
Business - 7
French - 6
Eng Lang - 5 (awful)

I was just wondering whether these are good grades in general if I want to go to good universities? I'm worried about Eng Lang.

It depends on what degree you want to study and where.

Some unis will have problems with the English Lang grade - recommend resitting, but do check the resit policy on the degree course webpage before resitting (some don't accept resits).
Some unis won't. I don't know.

Also, what do you mean by "good unis"?
