Honest opinion and advice about Arden University concerning Msc Psychology (conversio

Hello, I have a Bsc degree in Food Science in my home country and presently working as a care assistant in the UK.
I am presently studying for my level 3 in counselling skills in college and I thought of having an additional knowledge and qualification in Psychology.
I have a few questions and I would love an honest and an unbiased answer.
1. As anyone recently graduated from Arden University with Msc Psychology (conversion) and secured a job with it?
2. How many instalments do they get their fees payment and how much does each payment cost?
3. Is Arden University a good place to study this course compared to Open University?

Hello! I did the MSc in Psychology at Arden and I had a great time. Obviously being a fan of the Uni my view will be slightly biased so I would check out a Universities report on the Teaching Excellence Framework (readily available online) from the Office for Students.

A few objective facts;

the course is fully accredited by the British Psychological Society

the course has the option of 100% online learning or study centres in major cities like Manchester, Leeds, London and Birmingham

the course has a specially designed Virtual Learning environment which gives you access to all the journal articles you will need

The course is funded by the Student Loan Company (if you are eligible for a student loan obv)

In terms of the UK, you cannot call yourself a 'psychologist' without doctorate level study, for instance an area like Educational Psychology or Clinical. Looking at progression from an MSc in terms of a job can be misleading. My purpose, half way through a teaching career, was to allow access to funding for SEND learners (long convoluted story) but I achieved that. It helped me gain promotion into a new role where I work.

I honestly can't remember about the loan payments, but there was a flexible aspect of paying for the course in that you could delay the start of some units as long as you finished the course overall in a specific time period

Why not follow Arden on social media? It will highlight when the virtual opening days are
