Yesterday I got 3 hours of studying done which is decent! I made a lot of edits to my personal statement and I like the look of it right now, but I'm going to run it by my dad as well. I spent some time working on functions for the TMUA and I also started writing down an analysis of stakeholder requirements and actions I now need to take for my CS NEA.

Thank you!!
Yesterday, I spent another hour refining my personal statement and it finally is within both the character count and line count!! I'm going to have a meeting with my Oxbridge mentor later this week and get her thoughts on it.

Well done! Very proud of you - I know how hard it is to write a personal statement, so you're doing so well x

Thank you and good luck with that!
I got less than an hour of TMUA revision done today which isn't great considering I literally only have 6 weeks left until the exam and I won't be able to revise as much once school opens. I NEED TO STOP PROCRASTINATING!!

A tip for procrastination - tell yourself to set 10 mins to start the TMUA and see how it goes there. You will likely get into the flow of things and do it for longer. Give it a go xx

i have a problem with procrastination lately too 😢 i try to make studying as enjoyable as possible. it sounds cliché, but making a delicious drink and putting on some jazz in the bg as well as having a comfortable working space got me through most of my UCAT revision ^^ good luck w ur revision!

That's wonderful to hear! xx
Went back to school today! It was lowkey stressful because we were told the deadline the personal statement is next week. Thankfully mine feels nearly complete but WHY WOULDN'T YOU MENTION THAT DEADLINE EARLIER?? We spent the majority of today working on our UCAS applications to make sure most of it is filled in. I got a couple of tiny pieces of homework today which I have finished and I did a TMUA paper after school which I did terribly in (24/40, trying not to panic but I'm a lil scared I can't lie). In all fairness, it's the first paper I've done fully so hopefully I will get significantly better??

yes it always gets better! A tip i tried with past papers when i took national 5 business last year that really helped me was reviewing the whole topic of the questions i missed again and writing notes and flashcards on it so when i do another past paper the chances of me getting it right is pretty high, i’d say it worked because i went from a C in my prelim to an A in the real thing 😋
