guess who had a little mental breakdown at school? this galll
my cs teacher is pressuring me to get my project work done on time and i'm struggling sm. i've been trying to get my personal statement done which is due on the same day (this friday) and i'm just feeling overwhelmed. thankfully my school nurse and deputy head of my year helped me so much and said they would speak to all of my teachers about being a bit more lenient with deadlines for me. i'm honestly just so tired and i just really needed someone to be understanding, which they both were. so grateful!!
alsoo i went through the latest version of my ps with my oxbridge mentor and she said she really liked it! she helped me reword a couple of things but i think i'm pretty much ready to submit it now!

do remember to take breaks and make your cs teacher aware of the situation
hopefully he/she is very understanding💜💜💜

thank you
yeah computing teachers are really annoying, i think it’s a universal thing now. Mine highly dislikes me and makes me feel stupid for asking for help and when i try ask my friend instead she yells at me for interrupting the class :erm:
but remember to take breaks, everyone works at their own speed, the important thing is to use ur abilities to the best

I feel your pain with that one ☹️ I miss classes quite a lot and teachers dont really understand the struggle if you’re missing work how draining it is to catch-up on and it also takes so much longer outside of class!
I hope you do well on your assignment though 🙂 and also hopefully your teacher might change their attitude a bit after the head of year has spoken to them 🤞

That’s such a shame ☹️ Yeah it’s a pain, I missed all 3 of my lessons today so I have to do 5 hours of lesson work…. So that’s like 7 hours in reality (lucky me!) I hope your day went good 🙂

hellooo i feel like i’ve fallen off the face of the earth, i haven’t updated this in soo long! last week i had a lil stomach bug which set me back a little in terms of school work but generally my teachers are being a tad more understanding of my large workload which is lovely!

i helped out with an open evening at school this week which was so much fun! i love meeting prospective parents and students since they’re all so excited by the prospect of a new school and it feels great to help them out!

i got my provisional EPQ mark back: 41/50 which should hopefully be an A unless it goes down during external moderation! i’m thinking about reviewing it though since it feels like it was marked harshly as i was so careful to stick to the mark scheme so i’m not sure where i went wrong! idc too much about it though, i’m just glad it gave me a lot to talk about in my personal statement!

i also managed to send my UCAS form off to my school so hopefully it’ll be send to unis soon! so exciting but also so nerve-racking!

trying to ramp up prep for the tmua since i don’t feel like i’ve done enough, i keep procrastinating though and then not sleeping well because i’m anxious but i just find it so hard to stop procrastinating!! i feel so overwhelmed

i’m going to try and get back into pilates this week, hopefully it should make me feel better! my joint pains are going down right now and so are my inflammation levels (but they’re still high) so i’ve got to take care of myself!

Good to hear you're feeling better!
thank you for the support @DerDracologe @always-anxious @Maximum-tragedy !!

i’m going to try and update this gyg every day with my progress, just to convince myself not to slack off! today i got some tmua questions done and got a score of around 6.9! i’m just aiming to do as well as i can but i think my unis would probably want above 6.5!
