hey everyone!
okay first off sorry that i just briefly abandoned this blog, it's for a good reason i promise!
so on my last little update i was in a shockingly bad place in terms of the reading i was getting done before starting uni (basically it took me like a week and half to read one book 😭) and i thought i'd pop back on here because i have read a lot more since then!!
i've read 7 things on my list so far i'm pretty sure, which i'm very happy with at the moment because that covers most of the first 2 weeks of teaching i think so hopefully i won't fall behind with the reading if i keep up what i'm doing at the moment!
i also officially only have a week left at home seeing as i'm moving in next saturday which is quite exciting but also a bit nerve wracking... i've started packing a few bits already but i kind of need to get a move on with that as well 😅
well i think that's all for now, so have a lovely rest of the day and weekend

hi!

not me abandoning this again for another week 😭
again, i was spending a lot of my time reading in preparation and packing more of my stuff into various bags and boxes

in any case, today is my last day at home, so apart from the few items i'll be needing in the morning, everything i'm taking with me is all packed and ready to be loaded into the car this evening for a very long drive to durham tomorrow morning (3 hours 💀)
i didn't actually do any reading for uni today, yesterday or wednesday to give myself a bit of a break, although i'm sure i won't really be reading much this next week anyway with it being fresher's week but we'll see 😁

right, have a lovely weekend everyone and i'll try to do an update on here soon

hope your move goes well!
wishing you all the best for tomorrow!! ❤️
3 hours is a positively short drive to Durham! But good luck with it! :h:

(Flashback to when my dad and I visited the York and Durham open days on the same day by car from mid Wales that was an incredibly long trip!)

Lol we drove 3 hours to York very early in the morning, did York, had lunch, then drove onward to Durham. Came back following the sat nav and ended up on the tiniest little farm track

hey everyone!

feel like i've done what every fresher i've seen on here has done and just completely abandoned the gyg during fresher's week 😅
i'm enjoying uni so far, not feeling too homesick and i'm getting to grips with the change in location which is good but honestly i'm so ready for lectures to start because i need to revolve around a routine 💀

good news on that though is that my first 2 lectures are tomorrow which is exciting, so i've been doing some more pre-reading to prep for those depending on what the lecturers have said so i'm going to lock in for a bit longer now before eating to get myself ready!

have a lovely evening
