Trickia's tricky travel on her a levels (2024-25)

Nope - after the inital email confirming my place I haven't heard anything from the school which is a bit concerning

Little update
My forgetful self forgot to add that I was doing an EPQ (which I will start in Yr 12)! Additionally I got into my first choice sixth form - so I am over the moon
Although it will be the first time I'm relying on public transport but luckily my local council added more buses (that go to the sixth forms to combat demand/rush hour) so hopefully it should be alright! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
To do list over the summer deadline next week ~⛱️

Next week I have a day of school to allow us Yr 12s to familiarise ourselves and receive our student IDs and timetables. So by the end of next week I will have an update for that!
I'm quite excited to be honest and tried to be prepared (excluding summer work which I am nearly done with lol). Although not many of my peers are going to that school I have found a small group of close friends which are going - so it helps with the unfamiliarity😭

Public transport can be awful sometimes but if there's a lot of people from that school getting the same bus the school will be understanding about lates and stuff so dw about it especially as they ahve increased the number of buses in your area - in my area they decreased the amount of buses going to the schools which is annoying
Good luck with your induction day - we just get two hours at the start of the day to familiarise ourselves 🥲

Thank you 🫶 Probably a dissertation since I'm terrible at maintaining motivation when it comes to creating objects (even though I love it😭) Topics would either be science related or ethical concerns? Not too sure yet - planning to do a possible mix but I will have to discuss with the tutor first lol

Y7,Y11 and Y12 go in a day earlier than the other years at my school.

Ooh sounds nice, if you pick a topic you're really interested in it makes the process a whole lot better!

That's so unfair 😭 my council has attempted to make transport better (also because my sixth form is near the hospital so lots of healthcare workers😭)
