Clinical Psych MSC, Bath, Exeter or Kings

Hii!
So, I'm entering 3rd year and I am planning on applying for a masters. I am just conflicted because the loan doesn't cover much except sometimes the tuition fee. I'm currently at Bath Uni, and they have a good masters programme but there is no sort of opportunity to gain more hands on clinical experience which other courses such as Kings or Exeter provide. The negative is that Exeter and Kings are quite expensive but at Bath I would also get the alumni discount if I got in.

Does anyone have any advice or has attended the MSC course in either one of the three for some help??

Thank you!!
Oh that feels so familiar to me, as someone who was considering my MSc not so long ago. Like you, I also considered Bath but was put off by the lack of placement available on my desired courses. I settled on KCL but I can't tell you how it is yet, because still waiting on a start in September 😀 But I can let you know details or answer questions later in the year.

Alumni discount certainly is tempting... I'm certainly going to be worrying about my London expenses all year😂 I suppose what would help sell any of the courses is examining what they provide and what you want to get out of them. You might not need a placement if you have clinical experience already. Bath is a fine institution, its certainly one I was considering due to how academically rigorous it is. Plus, you can continue to build on existing relationships with lecturers, maybe even support them with projects if you want to get some more experience. Whereas elsewhere you'd be starting from scratch.

Thank you! I would love to hear more about how you find the masters programme at Kings as you progress! I hope you have a good start in September. And, I'm glad you understand the sort of situation I am finding myself in with the confliction of price and familiarity vs placement opportunity.
