Should I do BTEC Applied for radiography?

Deciding between BTEC Applied Science (full course) or taking all 3 sciences @ A-level. What ensures I get a place?

Strictly speaking, nothing guarantees you a place anywhere. You can do a number of things to improve your odds, but there is nothing that ensures anything. It's like applying for sixth form colleges.

Where possible, I usually recommend A Levels as opposed to BTEC, but for radiography you should be fine with BTEC as well as A Level.

You also don't need to do all 3 sciences for radiography. Most are fine with biology and/or chemistry. In some cases, they're fine with just any one of the 3 sciences. You would need to check the entry requirements of each individual degree to be sure.
Also, you would need to be very specific about which type of radiography degree you want to do: therapeutic or diagnostic; the entry requirements would differ between the 2.
