If you used Clearing in 2024, how did you find it?

Hi I am about to apply for the role of a PTI in the RAF and was wondering if anyone could share any advice they have on what to expect during the process?

What kind of questions will be asked during the interview?

Any advice for any part of this process will be extremely helpful!

You won't get advice on questions as it's against TSR guidelines to give anyone an advantage in exams or interviews.

The recruitment process is explained on the RAF Recruitment website. What I can say for PTI is that the Specialist Interview expects a high degree of confidence and communication; you won't just take part in sport, you'll be leading warm-ups, officiating a game, instructing others in sports skills as well as other physical tests.

What experience/quals do you have in playing and coaching sport?

What experience/quals do you have in playing and coaching sport?

I’m currently a PT in a gym and run multiple classes a week, outdoor Bootcamps and 1-2-1 sessions. I’ve led strength training classes, circuits, running etc
