I'd agree with you - what on earth is the point in posts like this trying to put people down?! Your exam results could literally not have been better, an A is an A, and seven of them is brilliant. All your doing is offering help here which I think is great, keep on doing what your doing- the right people will appreciate it.

I saw quite a few of these for GSCES so I thought I'd do one for Nat 5s, Ask me anything!

Hi having to pick my highers soon and wondering what the difference is between human biology and biology and if one would be harder than the other, also wanting to take Phycology is it an essay based subject? Your grades are amazing aswell!!!

Hi, there isn't much of a difference other than the obvious, the two courses do have some common ground though. I have heard that human biology is marginally harder, but I wouldn't let that sway your opinion. Make the decision based on if you care about plant biology or not.

Psychology is very very very essay based and there's lots of notes, i've had a few friends saying they hate it. I still like I can see their point. I would say only to pick psychology if you're ok with that and/or really interested in psychology.

To be honest, I hated physics. I liked dynamics and space and other stuff but I just found the electricity stuff so boring. My teacher had target graded me as a B at some point during the electricity topic. But each to their own, you may love it, what other subjects are you taking?

just ruae tbh, its not that im not good at it (im in top set) its just i hate it and want to drop it. would i need higher english to get in to immunology and pharmacology at strathclyde?

Hi! I checked the starthclyde website and you don't need higher english, however I have this teacher who is amazing and knows so much and he says that even when they say they don't require it pupils who do have higher english and maths are favoured and the course you're interested in is a competitive one. (You do need nat 5 english at B though)

That being said if you truly hate english then drop it! Just because you don't take english doesn't mean you absolutely won't get in but I would recommend taking it.

For ruae I would recommend past papers but make sure you fully know how to answer each question type first, I would also apply using skills you use in your textual analysis to ruae. The scottish text is basically just prelearned ruae.
