Does anyone know if the free AI tool smartexam.io is legit ?

Somehow I stumbled in reddit over this AI tool that lets you upload the uni lectures as a PDF and then lets you solve these test exams with instant feedback.
Before I sign up, I just wanted to ask if any of you has experience with it and can tell me if it is legit ? There is no paywall whatsoever, so I am just wondering.
