Hello! I am fresher joining next month and am in need of buying a new laptop for these upcoming years at uni and am wanting to know which laptops students at aber are using? which ones do you reccomend? are macbooks a yes or no?

i'm using a HP 255 G9 which I got as part of DSA, its pretty good other than the overheating issue.
