A’s and A*s at A-level - PLEASE HELP

Hi. I am going into year 13 in a week so I would like to know what I should be doing to get A/ A*s in my actual A-levels. I took y12 as a year of fun and didn’t focus but I am now determined to do the best I can.
I take Biology (AQA), Chemistry (AQA) and Psychology (AQA). How many hours of revision should I be doing? How should I revise? What should I be doing in class? What should I be doing in free periods? I have bought Anki flashcards for bio and chem but when do I start using them and how long should I use them daily? If anyone does these a-levels and is able to help, please do !! Thanks so much

I didn't do sciences, but honestly, just sit every paper like it's finals. Study all the content you've learned long and hard, time yourself during papers, study ahead of class and by the time finals come, you'll be well versed enough to not be stressed. Make folders for each new section of the syllabus you cover and go over them weekly, at least. Start doing practice papers on your own early next year and definitely don't waste any free periods this year. Join discussion groups too, you never know how much you didn't understand something until you have to explain it and correct others.

As it sounds like you didn't do much in year 12. Year 13 is going to be so mentally draining if you want to do well, but it is what it is. Put your head down and study. To guarantee you do well study every day as much as you can. In the end, its up to how much time you put into it.

1.

Consolidate your Notes.

2.

Do every past paper you can get hold of even if is another examboard.

3.

Always 'scrutinise' the examiners report and mark scheme.
