Same tbh, not many of my friends are coming. Did u do psychology for gcse bc im worried about the content as i didn’t do psy in gcse
Hey if someone in the loreto college can explain this to me?
Actually I came to Manchester 4 months ago and because I came from another country so English is not my first language
And then I’ll go to year 11(5 days later)
And last year I didn’t have time to revise all of the lessons in English
And idk if I can move up during the year 11 or not
I just want to know if with the first apply I’ll do for loreto college I will reject but after that I’ll move up to higher for maths and science and my GCSE will be so good
What should I do?
I should go to loreto college and show them my GCSE results and talk to them?

Yeah, so you will apply to colleges this year, dont worry too much. try and pass, if not you can resit it in college. make sure you meet the entry requirements for the chosen subjects. check the website for info on this.

Thanks so much. So when I’ll give my GCSE results I should go and talk to them and show them my GCSE grades?

i got a 9 in english language, here are my tips
your language grade largely depends on your level of analysis. instead of telling the most obvious thing about a word or line, say something that not others would say, this will make your answers very unique. layer your analysis for all qs especially for Q4s, keep linking your analysis back to the question and PLAN your Q4s and 5s.
HOME | AQA English Language (mbrogcseenglish.com) - this has some student exemplars, read through them as part of your revision. as told above do all the past papers in timed conditions and get them marked and receive feedback. i used 51243 order for paper 1 and 51342 for paper 2. play around to see which order suits you. don't fall into the trap of pre planning your stories. instead memorise a few basic descriptions that can be put into any topics - like description of an animal, garden, a character. go really depth in your description, for me description was easier and always got higher on it, its likely because i always get more indulged in the plot rather than the methods. make a checklist in your plan and tick them off as you use them. 2 to 3 pages is what AQA expects so don't focus on filling the pages . QUALITY OVER QUANTITY. dont panic keep practising and start early.

so you will be given predicted grades by teachers which will be sent to the colleges along with your application. based on that you hold an offer and when you receive your results, you go to the college and enrol, basically show your results and get your id stuff
