University course choices (i am so stuck) (save me)

I'm currently going into year 13 desperately trying to decide what to study at uni. I'm currently doing Spanish, Sociology and English Language & Literature and I would like to do something with spanish but i'm struggling to pick what.
One option is english lit but i've not been enjoying it as much at a level and i'm worried this would be the same at uni.
One option is film which i think i'd be interested in but i haven't studied it before so i can't be sure if i'll be good at it or like studying it.
Another option which seems more intimidating is with another language but if so...which? (if anyone did an extra language from scratch at uni any advice on how you chose it would be appreciated)
i looked at linguistics too but i think career wise i wouldn't use it as much as the others.
If anyone has any advice on studying these courses or choosing courses in general that would be write, i have an empty doc marked personal statement that needs filling x
hi, i’ve just finished year13 and i’m going to study French+ Spanish at uni! in terms of picking up a second language it could be a lot of fun, the uni will give you a lot of contact hours+ teaching for that, they say you can get the two up to a similar standard very quickly (i did this with spanish a level- in the end i got the same grade at a level!) it might make sense to go for languages which share grammar traits to make it a little easier but not necessarily!

Hi @izE_

I would recommend looking at the modules for the different courses that you are considering to see which ones look the most interesting to you.
It also might be good to visit some universities so that you can learn more about the different courses and speak with the lecturers for each subject.

When writing my personal statement I was not 100% on my course choice so I started it off quite generally and then made it more subject specific closer to when I submitted my application.

Hope that helps!
