Got 2:2 but want to persue M.Sc. will online PGCert help?

So, long story short, I graduate with 2:2 / CGPA2.9 in biomedical science and still want to persue master degree. Right now I work as a molecular biology tech. which is kinda still relevant to my degree.

Technically will taking an online PGCert and finish with good grade help with my chance of getting into 2:1 or at least better M.Sc Course?

Hey @Pete812

As far as i know, during admissions everything matters, from your bachelors degree, to your job experience and offcourse any extra certifications you might have done.

If you have a university on mind you want to target, i'll suggest to email the admissions to seek further clarity on your eligibility.

Convert your CGPA to percentage by multiplying it by 9.5. This helps in accurately presenting your academic performance for universities and jobs.

No, probably not. Chances are 3-5 more years of professional experience would make up for the undergrad grade. You'd also likely have more uni's that would give you an offer and a better idea of which course fits your career ambitions.
