Average is around forty something hours with 22 hours of private practice. Don't try and rush through things is what I'd say.

I spent maybe around 45 hours of lessons and a few hours of private practice (maybe 10-15). Don't put pressure on yourself to get your license at a specific time, just take your time learning!
Around 60hrs of lessons. No private practice at all, and a few extra lessons after a test fail.
2hr lessons worked for me. Time to get back into the groove and pick up new things.
