A-Z Uni Packing List

Hi all,

The time is looming where some of you will be packing up and moving away to university in the next few weeks.

I thought I would start a thread to see if we can make a list in alphabetical order for items new students can take to uni!

I'll start:

A: Adaptors

You will definitely need an adaptor to charge more than one item!

B is next up!

Love this idea! I'll jump in with E, slightly tricky one but I've gone for...

E for earphones/earbuds (or headphones ) I couldn't go anywhere without my earphones!

Hiya!

Loving these creative posts!

F: Footwear

It's a good idea to bring a few different types of footwear. Whether that's your favourite trainers, some trainers that you don't mind getting dirty to go out in and even some sort of boot for the colder upcoming months. I also highly recommend including a pair of comfy slip-on shoes whether that is Crocs, sliders, slippers or even flip flops. These are ideal as you don't want to walk around barefoot or in socks in your accommodation. Plus, they're incredibly convenient for quick trips to the local corner shop, taking out the bins, or heading downstairs to greet people.

Hi!

This is a great idea!

G: Glasses

I would recommend buying cheaper glasses to bring to uni for drinking out of as you will need them but there is a high chance they will end up getting broken, especially if you will be drinking/having pre drinks as this is quite common. If you are having people around and you leave a glass out, it might get knocked over so just be prepared for this and bring a couple of cheaper ones so you won't mind if you need to replace them. If you are planning on having friends around, it's always good to have a few glasses as this will come in really handy if you end up hosting people at your flat!

I would also say to try and buy some which have some kind of pattern/colour on as this way they won't get mixed up with your flat mates as this is quite common when everyone has the same glasses on the draining board!
