theres this guy (lets call him bob) and my friend has an out of school friend who asked bob if he liked anyone and he said yes, but when i asked him the next day if he had a crush on anyone he said no lol
he said im his bestfriend and we go to the movies together and restaurants and stuff but also he brags to me about how hes meeting up and snapping with other girls like for example he said
bob: im meeting up with this girl i've been snapping tomorrow
me: okay why are you telling me this
bob: um i don't know
everyone in our year ships us together including his ex girlfriend whos one of my best friends
does he like me or not lol thanks sm

Maybe, seems like he wants you to get jelly or something.
Takes a lot to ask someone if they like you, but if you feel like it go for it.
Or ask him who his crush is again and see his reply.
Or u should pull the same thing 'say you're chatting to xyz' indirectly and see his reaction?
