back studying after a (traumatic) weekend at leeds festival! here's what i did today:
⚖️ LNAT 1: spent 45 minutes on the essay section. i struggled when planning my essay today, and i noticed a huge difference in both the quality and ease of writing the essay in comparison to other essays where i've had a much better plan. this has helped me realise 1) the importance of planning and 2) that i'm better off focusing on planning as oppposed to writing essays on the lead up to my exam. gonna dedicate 15 mins or so each day to planning!
⚖️ LNAT 2: spent 45 minutes on the multiple choice section. still feeling shaky on this, but im hoping that with daily practice ill develop the skills to do well on the multiple choice and ill build up my marks ahead of the exam.
🧠 psych: spent an hour reviewing health content ahead of my exam on the second term week back in september. i've reviewed the content once before, but i want a second review of each lesson to ensure it's cemented in memory and to outline any gaps in my memory that i can fix with last minute revision! feeling confident about the psych exam.
🎓 personal statement: spent some time chatting with my mentor and editing my statement. having taken a few days away from the statement, going into it with fresh eyes was incredible - i've changed the order of a few things and it all feels much more cohesive. andddd, i've lowered the word count!!
📖 english lit: continuing with coursework task 2, researching giovanni's room. i compiled a table of themes and quotes which link to those themes. i've got another 6 or so weeks on this coursework, but i need to stop procrastinating on it lmao. ill probably regain inspiration from pinterest or something..
📖 english lit: spent an hour or so reading the handmaids tale!! enjoying this book and im hoping to have it finished within the next 12 days before i head back to school.
it's been so lovely getting back into studying. im taking the rest of the day to: research astrology and practice spirituality, journal, pick up some sony headphones and read! ⭐️
