Paris 2024 Paralympics: Swimming

Para swimming was first introduced to the Olympics in 1960 at the Summer Olympics in Rome. Swimmers will compete individually in backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and freestyle, as well as in teams in relay races. This year there will be 71 male, 64 female and 6 mixed open relays in the paralympic swimming, which is 5 events fewer than we saw in 2020!

Well done to France, Hungary, Poland, Singapore and Brazil for their swimming gold medals. William Ellard and Cameron Vearncombe for GB going for Gold now.
