class of 2025 media studies nea

hi! going into y11 soon, and i'm meant to start working on my media nea brief, but to be honest, i've been procrastinating and only have a rough plan ready. i chose brief 1 btw- the health drink video adverts one. to other people that have chosen media, have you started working on your nea? if so, what have you done so far?

This might not be helpful but I'm in Y12 and I didn't start my GCSE NEA until December and got 56/60 (a 9). If you make your plan perfect and start planning dates for shoots if needed (I don't really know what the briefs are), you should be okay- just manage your time well and you'll do great! It also depends when its due in, mine was due in March so I tried to get a complete draft done for end of January time and spend the next month working on tidying it

thanks for the reply!! since i posted that,, i'm glad to say i've finished my nea!! it's crazy because my school had an internal deadline despite actually having ages for it to be due irl, so i had around a month to do it. thankfully, i managed my time well and planned, filmed and composed accordingly! my teacher will be internally marking ours soon and she's looked over everyone's- she constantly brings up mine and how pleased she is with it so it hopefully went really well as she says ) congrats on urs!

when did you find out your nea results, was it earlier than results day or was it on results day?
