Going into y11 - how many of u guys work part time?

Balancing work with studies in Year 11 can be challenging but rewarding. A part-time job can provide valuable experience and skills, which could enhance your CV and personal growth. However, since you’re aiming for a career in medicine, it's crucial to focus on your studies and any relevant extracurricular activities, like volunteering or work experience in healthcare settings.

You can as well consider starting with a manageable amount of work, like a few hours a week, and see how it affects your studies. Prioritize finding work that aligns with your career interests, if possible, to make the most of both opportunities.

However, if you find that your academic performance might suffer, it might be wise to prioritize your studies, especially since you’re aiming for a demanding field like medicine
