architecture or physics

im in year 12 about to go into year 13 and have already started applying for architecture on ucas and am on my 3rd draft of personal statement, ive recently been thinking that maybe i should do physics instead as its a topic that interests me a lot more but i pushed it aside before as i didnt know much about what i could do with it and was a but worried because its quite a hard subject, but now im thinking that i dont want to design buildings for the rest of my life and would much rather do something physics related. I think its now probably too late to change my application as ill have to redo all my extracurriculars and then rewrite my ps then go again to all the open days and id rather not make myself even more busy during year 13 as im also in therapy, so maybe the best choice would be to take a gap year and apply next year but im worried about falling behind or being bored, any suggestions?
