Year 12 options

I’m picking A level 3D design, A level Geography and BTEC engineering certificate. In the future I’m planning on doing a degree apprenticeship or degree in building management and construction. I’m thinking about changing from BTEC engineering to economics as universities regard A level more highly. What do you think I should pick between the two subjects?

Do you find economics interesting? If yes then youre right unis regard a levels better generally so switching could be a good idea as long as its a subject you enjoy :smile:

Thanks for replying, my grades in both English lit and lang were 7 and I got grade 5 in maths. All of my essay based subjects I either got a 6 or 7 in GCSEs. The only thing that was holding me back from picking economics was that I thought I wouldn’t be able to cope with it due to a lot of people saying it’s hard, but then again most A levels are a challenge.
