Applying for SFE
How do I apply for Student finance without a UK passport or birth certificate. I am a UK National but do not have these documents as I was born in Ireland.

in that case you would be eligible to apply for SFE funding - you would need to send us your original Irish passport for eligibility.

You should be able to submit your application online then send your identity evidence via post. If the system will not allow you to apply online, you can always send a paper form to us.
